Measurements are your body, not the garment. Size by your hips first: the back has to stretch over them to pull down. Between sizes, curvy through the hips or thighs, or wearing it all day? Size up. Size down only for a firmer squeeze, and only if your hips sit mid-range — a tighter fit makes the pull-down back harder to use.
It is a back that lowers, not a crotch opening. You sit, pull the back down like underwear, and the front stays put. Wiping from the back is easy; the front takes more care, and you cannot hover over the seat. If you want front access, a snap- or zip-crotch bodysuit will suit you better.
Size decides whether the back works. Too tight and it will not pull down far enough — the most common complaint about this style. Size by your hips, and size up if you are in doubt.
There are short stays in the back hem. They stop the top rolling up. Most people do not notice them; some feel them when they bend or sit for long stretches. They are not a back brace.
It smooths; it does not reshape. Expect a smoother line under fitted clothes, not a different body. Under very thin, clingy fabric some wearers see a soft line where the top overlaps the shorts at the back waist.
It is not a medical compression garment. Plenty of people wear it in the months after having a baby, but it is not made for post-surgical recovery. Ask your doctor what to wear after surgery.

You know the moment. Four hours into the wedding, a one-piece under a fitted dress, and the bathroom means peeling everything down to your waist in a stall. This one is built in two halves joined at the front. The top's hem overlaps the shorts at the back, so when you need to go, you sit, pull the back down like underwear, and pull it straight back up. The straps never leave your shoulders and your dress stays where it is.

Sizing is the part of shapewear that goes wrong online — too tight and the back will not pull down, too loose and it does not smooth. If the size is not right, we swap it free within 90 days. Every bodysuit ships sealed and brand new. Swap terms.
Sit down, hook your thumbs into the back waistband and pull the back of the shorts down over your bottom, like underwear. The top and shorts are joined only at the front, so the front stays up and the straps stay on. Afterwards, pull the shorts back up and smooth the top's hem over the waistband. It takes a try or two to get used to.
From the back, yes — your bottom is fully clear. The front stays in place, so wiping the front takes a little more care. Pull the back down far enough that the gusset clears, and sit fully on the seat: you cannot hover in a one-piece. If front access matters most to you, a snap- or zip-crotch style will suit you better.
Go by your hip measurement on the chart. If you are between sizes, curvy through the hips or thighs, or planning to wear it all day, size up — that also makes the back easier to pull down. Size down only for a firmer squeeze, and only if your hips sit mid-range. Weight is a poor guide for this style.
The overlap sits at your natural waist. Wear it with the shorts pulled fully up and the top's hem smoothed down. Under most dresses and jeans it does not show; under very thin, clingy fabric some wearers see a soft line at the back waist.
Short stays sewn into the back hem of the top. Their job is to stop the hem rolling up. Most people do not notice them; some feel them when bending or sitting for a long time. They are not a posture or back brace.
No underwear needed — the gusset is lined in cotton. The built-in bust shaping gives light support; smaller and mid cups often skip a bra, while fuller busts may prefer their own bra for lift.
Many people wear it day to day in the months after having a baby. It is not a medical post-surgical compression garment, and it does not put targeted compression where the back opens. After any surgery, follow your doctor's advice on what to wear.
It is a full one-piece knit, so it is warmer than a slip. Wearers report all-day comfort in cooler months; on hot days some find it warm.
